Public Opinion emerged from the Denver, Colorado, hardcore scene in 2020 and have evolved from spunky proto-punks into an anthemic rock n roll powerhouse. Perpetual Motion Machine follows the bands debut album, Painted On Smile, which was released in 2024, and drew praise from the likes of Stereogum, BrooklynVegan, Paste Magazine, and more. The new songs were recorded by Christian Gutierrez and mixed by Brett Romnes (Anxious, Oso Oso, I Am The Avalanche) and they pickup where Painted On Smile left off, dialing up the bands catchy and confrontational blend.
